It has been over two months since I last posted, and quite a bit has changed. I am no longer flying with Karl; he has taken a full time job with Spirit Aviation…flying the King Air. I am thankful for the many things he taught me, and hope the new job works out well. My new primary instructor is Lorne Lawry…I have flown with him a number of times, and think he is a very good fit. So, now I’m back at it (3 flights in the last week), and looking forward to progressing toward my checkride. Although I was able to fly a few times both solo and with Karl in December and January, I really hadn’t been able to focus on studying and flying until two weeks ago (very busy with work). Needless to say, I glad things are moving forward again. Next time out, a short dual cross country to KMOD (Modesto).
